29 years ago, a hard working group of dedicated volunteers led by Chairman Nell McAnelly and League President Cynthia Graves, assembled to begin work on a new fundraiser for the Junior League of Baton Rouge. Over the past 29 years, Hollydays has become Louisiana’s largest fundraiser. Over $6 million dollars has been raised for the Baton Rouge Community. Hollydays along with 42,000 hours of volunteer work directly impacted the lives of over 60,000 people in the Greater Baton Rouge area and will impact over 300,000 people over the life of these projects.
When you “Shop for a Cause” you support the Junior League’s outreach to 7 dynamic programming initiatives and our mission-based training programs. These programs continue to support partnering agencies, such as Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital, LSU Agricultural Center, Susan G. Komen Baton Rouge, and Baranco Clark YMCA, just to name a few. It is simply an honor for Holiday Fried Pecans to be a vendor for a wonderful community outreach program like Hollydays.
